Sephora favorites!!!

Hello beauties!!!  I wanted to share with you all some of my current Sephora favorites and some I purchased today to try out.  If you are a Beauty Insider you can get up to 20% off your entire purchase through Monday.

1.  Moroccanoil light:  I purchased this in the 3.4 oz bottle a few months ago and apply it prior to blow drying my hair.  I use the light form because my hair is super thin (thanks to kids, lol).  But it does not make my hair greasy, it helps with fly aways, and makes my hair look much more smooth after styling it.  I purchased this mini size because the bigger size is not good when flying (it has always leaked in my plastic bag that I put it in).  I will also say if you are interested in trying it you should definitely purchase this mini size because a little bit goes a long way.  I would also suggest to only apply it about midway down your hair and through to the ends.  I do not apply it to the top of my head or anywhere near my scalp so my hair won’t look too greasy.

2.  Diorshow mascara:  Okay so I will go on and on and on about this mascara.  I have been using this particular mascara for more than five years now.  I have tried many others in between just to venture out, but always return to the Diorshow mascara.  I love the way the brush is in that it has very fine spaces in between the brushes themselves.  Therefore, not allowing the mascara to clump on the brush before applying it to your lashes.  I feel it makes my lashes not too thick but more of a natural look.  I have never really been a fan of waterproof mascara, but have tried Diorshow’s version, but I hate how waterproof mascara can be so hard on your lashes.  In an upcoming post I will share my secret to longer, thicker natural lashes.

3.  Dermalogica:  I own the bigger size of this daily exfoliant, however I have never tried their cleanse.  I really like the exfoliant; I would initially use it after I cleansed my face.  Then, I began adding it to my usual face wash and rubbing them together on my face.  I like it because it is very gentle on the skin and leaves my face feeling really cleansed.  I only use it about 3-4 times a week.  I do not use it every morning and evening.  I will use it more frequently depending on if I wore a lot of make up or after a workout.  You can also use it as a mask, but I would suggest using it alone and not with your usual cleanser if used as a mask.  I purchased the this duo to try the cleanse and I will update you all with my thoughts.

4.  Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lips:  I own the pillow talk shade in their lip liner and usually pair it with their Kim K. W lipstick.  I wanted to try this due because I really love the pillowtalk lip liner and feel I will also love the lipstick.  The pillowtalk shade sells out so quickly so I’m excited to try it.

5.  Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette:  I own The Uptown Girl eyeshadow palette from Charlotte Tilbury already and use it when I’m really wanting my makeup to make a statement.  I wanted to try this pillowtalk eyeshadow palette because I feel it is more of a daily wear palette that I will use a lot.  One of the things that drew me to Charlotte Tilbury’s eyeshadow palette initially was if you look on the back of the palette it tells you how and when to use which color.  I am not the best at makeup but have been watching more YouTube videos to learn different techniques, but I feel this was very helpful for me.
